Gulfood Manufacturing: Sealing lid made in Tula in the United Arab Emirates

International exhibitions are one of the key drivers of the growth in the area of development of the export direction of companies. To extend the distribution area of flexible packaging, we took part in the Gulfood Manufacturing exhibition that took place in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) from 7 to 9 November. This made it possible to meet representatives of companies from countries in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.

The commercial director of the „Present upakovka“ LLC Sergey Kochetov will tell about the results of the exhibition.

Although our company is already a leader in its area in Russia, we actively develop the export direction. We manufacture competitive products by using the best equipment and raw materials. Currently, our company takes the 13th place worldwide in the production of the lid for sealing plastic packages (under the report by an American ZION MARKET RESEARCH analytical company), and literally within several years, the part of flexible package manufactured for exportation increased and reached 25% from the total volume. This is an excellent index but our goal is a constant development and development of new markets. In connection with this, we decided to take part in the GULFOOD MANUFACTURING exhibition.

It became an excellent opportunity for us to present our products to a wide audience – by the way, the previous exhibition attracted above 35 000 visitors.

Our sealing lids with SMART-embossing, lids for coffee capsules, and smooth sealing lids were of much interest. The huge advantage become the presence of a declaration of our company that confirms that the products correspond with European standards. Currently, we are already holding negotiations about the presentation of test samples to companies from Jordan, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates.

During the exhibition, we presented samples of sealing lids for sealing the glass to a company that manufactures dairy products in Israel, and the first tests were successful.

Such a good result one month after the exhibition already is an excellent index. Currently, we contemplate the possibility to take part in the GulFood 2022 exhibition.
