A modern Russian plant, which certified all of its processes and products, has opened its doors to the representatives of the biggest Russian and Belarus pharmaceutical companies. We invited our current and potential clients to see the capabilities our production has to offer, the conditions of manufacturing primary packaging, and a new workshop – the clean room.

The Packaging Factory MILK gathered specialists from ten pharmaceutical companies: personnel from packaging departments, heads of quality departments, sourcing managers, and chief engineers. The excursion around the manufactory started at the lacquer workshop, moved to the printing workshop, and then - to the die-cutting production area. The key moment of the event – is seeing the clean room where blister foil is produced. On entering this new production area, guests were greeted by the company’s General Director who told the visitors about his fifteen-year business experience – from an old, rented workshop in Moscow in the beginning to a plant with the most sophisticated equipment that regularly offers its customers innovative packaging decisions. In the clean room, pharma producers were talking with the company’s Production and Quality Directors. The new Dutch MPS printing machine and the organization of the clean room itself, which has been already validated by class D, impressed the visitors most favorably.

Vladimir Chkadua, the senior sourcing manager in the pharmaceutical company Sotex: We order from your company, get blister foil in a timely fashion, and are highly satisfied with its quality. The most impressive thing about your clean room is the quality control system that spots potential defects promptly, and allows getting adequate samples automatically: each roll carries complete information about the printing it underwent. You are good. I would recommend you to other companies.

The visitors were interested if the workshop is equipped with a climate-control system, how raw material gets inside it, if the printing equipment is made specially for clean rooms, how clothes are disinfected. All the answers satisfied the clients. The answer to the last question, in particular, even surprised them – personnel from the printing department with enter permissions have five garment sets. They will be washed at the same place where pharma-producing companies wash their garments – in the specialized Berendsen laundry.

Nadezhda Bezrukova, head of the Packaging Department at the pharmaceutical company Obolenskoe: We already heard about your new printing machine, and now we had an opportunity to check by ourselves – it really meets the most recent world tendencies. It has a remarkable quality control system. We were shown how it can detect any defect right on the spot. That’s your absolute competitive edge, because our industry has no place for defects. And, of course, all your plant is brand new and is well-kept. I really enjoyed the excursion.
